Love the Pinpoint Control

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Speedy and efficient cooking allows us to make any meal in less time, with greater control over the quality of each dish. The ability to pinpoint the temperature and change rapidly outpaces any gas range I've ever used.

Induction great

Love the induction. Large burner could be placed a little further to the back and right corner. Separate control knobs would be good for each burner.

I have had my range for a little over a month now. I'm still exploring all of the features, but everything has worked perfectly so far! Here's a list of things I've learned: 1. You can boil a cup of water on the stove faster than in the microwave. 2. If you use the boost feature to get a pot of water boiling for pasta, don't forget to turn it down before adding the pasta! 3. Pasta water spills wipe up with ease! 4. The warmer drawer keeps everything warm if you finish a dish before everything else is ready. 5. The proof setting for bread actually works! Very well, I might add. 6. Even though it doesn't say "air fry" anywhere in the settings... The convection bake setting is a great air fryer. 7. Everyone should have one of these ranges! Go get one, you won't regret it!

A few bugs to work out

I'm hesitant to fully review my new range as I've had it for 2 months and the oven has only worked for 1.5 weeks. However, we are LOVING the induction cooktop. Hard to find a slide-in range that overlaps the counter. It was delivered damaged...the metal grill on the back of the cooktop (where the steam from oven is released) was bent. Made of very flimsy metal and I'd be lying if I said the replacement grill was flawless. This metal will make a vibrating noise if not screwed in tightly. My suggestion would be for Bosch to update with stronger material. We also had a cooling fan/control panel error which required 3 additional service calls to work out. Thank goodness it is all under warranty. I'm thinking it may not be a bad idea to purchase an extended warranty with the luck I've had so far. However, it seems like all is well now and I'm looking forward to cooking for the holidays!

Cooks great. Controls are not great.

First off, the induction cooktop works really well. I had a gas stove before this and decided to go with induction instead and will never go back to gas. The speed boost features boils pots of water incredibly quickly — even on the smallest burner. Heat control is instant. Milk starting to boil will subside right away when I turn it down. BUT I wouldn't buy this particular induction stove again. The touch controls are just too poorly designed. First off, they're on the top of the stove and if anything wet gets on them (steam from a pot, for example) they can shut down the whole cooktop. If you accidentally move a pot and touch them, they shut down the whole top. They're also really hard to read and often require multiple touches before they actually sense your hand. The controls are nice and sleek and they seem like it should work well, but in reality they come up short. The oven works fine, but again the controls are not great. The broil only has high or low. You can't change the temperature up or down without restarting the setting. For example, if you open the door to check on something and decide to up the heat, the oven will have to restart and "preheat" itself again, which takes a while and means the foods cooks at a higher temperature until it's done pre-heating. While it cooks well enough overall that won't be replacing it anytime soon. Given a choice I wouldn't buy it again.
