CHARLOTTE, NC, April, 2023 Queen City Audio Video & Appliances is happy to announce that they plan to merge the Hart Appliance Center of Greensboro, NC under the Queen City umbrella on April 1st , 2023. The two well-known independent appliance retailers have joined forces to bring an enhanced shopping experience with a larger selection to the Triad market.

Hart Appliance Center has been a long-time staple in Greensboro since 1956. Current Owner, Tom McDaniel will stay on as Store Manager.
“The change in my role will allow me to be more in front of our guests on a day-to-day basis and give me the opportunity to focus 100% on customer satisfaction. It is also an opportunity to enhance benefits for my current employees,” says McDaniel.

Hart Appliance Center will change their name to Queen City Audio Video & Appliances in the second quarter of 2023. The new vision for the store will be to increase showroom space to allow room for additional appliance lines as well as electronics, mattresses, and outdoor products, not previously offered. This will allow guests to have a full line of home products in one convenient location.
“Queen City brings valuable resources to support our local community including increased buying power, additional customer service support and over $25 million of in-stock inventory, so we can get our customers what they want faster,” says McDaniel.
With Queen City now managing Hart Appliance Center and with the opening of a new store in Winston-Salem, they have the delivery capacity to cover Forsyth & Gilford Counties, north into Virginia, south into Mecklenburg County and east toward Raleigh-Durham. The company also offers next-day delivery options not previously available in this area.
Currently operating as Hart Appliance Center at 2201 Patterson St., Greensboro with a change in visual signage to Queen City Audio Video & Appliances coming in April of 2023.
